So apparantely I am a sparatic blogger in the fact that I dont blog for months and months on end and then........boom.........here are two in a week. Do NOT get used to this as it is likely to not continue.

I bought Queen Latifia's(sp) new movie Last Holiday last night and watched it and all I have to say is WOW. What a movie! What a person! As most of you are aware I do not rate movies on merit, on design, on acting, all of that so I probably will have ALOT of people that disagree with me on this one but, this movie was AMAZING.

It has a wonderful message that is packed full of the things that REALLY MATTER in life.

Dont dream about possibilities in life....make them happen.....live life to the fullest.......and treat people around you with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

All of you should watch this movie.........and I too now join Kelmo in her fondness of Ms. Tifa

So Im 26 right? Thats a nice and medium respectable age to be? I think so.....I am having a blast and loving life. Single...back in school....working a lot. So how come whenever people ask me how old I am....I HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT.........its not just that fact; but I go back and forth...25 no 26 no I'm 25 right? This really doesnt bother me as much as it fit with the title but I thought it would be fun. So, Im not married...and no real prospects of being married at this point and I AM COMPLETELY CONTENT WITH THIS. So how come everytime I am around family I get comments like this:

1. Dont you think it is about time you settle down? (Like I am running around, clubbing, and having wild random sex with girls I meet)

2. I need neices and nephews to spoil.

3. Your too picky! (Since when did this become a bad thing)

So I shall end this blog with an event that happened yesterday in which I feel my point is driven home. I was visiting my sister in the hospital as the Cafeteria Lady comes in to deliver her tray and then leaves. As soon as she clears the door....my sister says...you need to be checking her ring finger and if she isnt married you need to ask her for her number.

REALLY? THE CAFETERIA LADY? IS IT THAT BAD?

Why cant I just be ok with being single for now? Is that too much to ask for? Im not saying that I wont eventually get married and have kids, but at this point in the game I am happy and content where I am.

For those of you who may have heard the news that I am returning to DFW.........I have decided to stay here. I need to finish graduate school and even though im not the happiest here right now.....it is the smartest thing for me to stay. My job also offered me more money and benefits which is one of the reasons i was resigning so I decided to stay.

I have since moved out of my parents in Center and I am actually living in Nacogdoches now in a house with a roomate.....I am hoping this will ease a little bit of my suffering.

So I guess the spring is always the time of engagements and pending marital bliss. Two of my really good friends are now engaged and planning weddings. I am so happy for them. I think my family wishes it was me....but I never really was much on trying to do what they wanted me too.
